Dr. Marquita L. Albert, PsyD
Dr. Marquita L. Albert is a writer, faith leader, and visionary committed to helping women rise from pain into purpose. She is the founder of His Daughter Women’s Group, a ministry dedicated to creating safe spaces for healing, spiritual growth, and identity restoration for women walking through grief, trauma, and life transitions.
She holds a Doctorate in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Theology and Religious Studies from Hope Bible Institute, blending clinical understanding with spiritual insight to support holistic healing rooted in faith, scripture, and lived experience.
With over a decade of service in public safety and emergency response, including 12 years in security and 16 years as a police dispatcher, Dr. M L Albert brings a grounded perspective shaped by resilience, compassion, and the realities of human suffering and strength.
Dr. Albert dedicates her work to her late son, Derrick Jermaine Sims, Jr., whose life continues to inspire her mission, and to her daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Sims and Paige JoeLea Albert, who remain her strength and reason to keep building forward.
Her life story is one of transformation, of walking through grief, including the loss of her beloved son, and choosing faith as the foundation for healing and purpose. She encourages women to move from brokenness to boldness through her writing and ministry, reminding them that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.
